All the rooms have an Eco-button too. As a part of the Guest Participation Programme, guests have an eco-button on the bedside panel, which when pressed steps up the air-conditioning by 2oC and reduces electricity consumption. The resultant savings in electricity are translated into rupee terms by a central computer, displayed on the guest profile and folio and a certificate is issued to the guest. |

All the Fern hotels have a system wherein power is activated in a room only once the guest inserts the card into the electrical device. This ensures that no power is consumed while the guest is gone. |
